Talking Sticks

Language and Culture Teachers, Sonya Charley and Irene Charley worked with multiple classes learning about and making talking sticks. With focus on one of the seven sacred teachings, Respect, they explained and reviewed why we use talking sticks - to listen fully and with openness to those holding the stick which translates into being respectful.
